The TAOS SKI VALLEY is still a well kept secret! The ski area is located about 18 miles northeast of the Town of Taos and usually has the best snow in the State. At first glance the front face of the mountain looks more than scary, but there is really great skiing and snow boarding for all levels of experience. The TAOS SKI VALLEY Ski School is rated as one of the best in the county, so if you are new to the ski valley, spend a few dollars and take a lesson or find a local to show you the secrets of the mountain. There is nothing like skiing fresh powder on a beautiful "blue sky" day in a ski area with no lift lines!

Taos ski valley is also so beautiful in the summer and fall- cool and green! Great hiking, horseback riding, fishing and just hanging out.
